Lent Course 2025 - Hear Our Prayer
Bishop Philip's new ‘Hear our Prayer’ course has five sessions. It examines the prayer lives of five Old Testament figures who prayed, how that relates to the prayer life of Jesus and by doing so, we can reflect on our own prayer own lives. The sessions are:
-
1) Personal Prayer (Hannah)
2) Ambitious Prayer (Elijah)
3) Hopeful Prayer (Ezekiel)
4) Communal Prayer (Esther)
5) Constant Prayer (Daniel)

Learning from our Bibles
Learning from our Bibles is so important as we learn what it means to love and follow God. There are a whole host of resource ideas here.
To read the Bible, it helps to understand the whole story of the Bible. Click here to download a bookmark that shows the timeline of the Bible with where each book fits in the big story. Some books span sections, but this is a good start to see how things fit together.
